Besides young Hollywood celebrities and a handful of rich, spoiled kids, most fashionistas--I would venture to guess--are more mature. I would imagine some of these women would prefer to see models their own age. Perhaps Eric Bergère kept this in mind when casting his Spring 2002 RTW runway show. Unfortunately, 2002 was the year Bergère had to shut down his boutique and atelier due to lack of funds. Did the older models bankrupt him, or was it just a great idea that came too late? I'd like to believe the latter.
